Primarily known for his complex installations and wall drawings, Damien Gilley has created for the Independent Infinity Games, a series of 2-dimensional works utilizing laser fabrication. These detailed laser etchings of lush transparent acrylic with metallic paint depict abstracted built environments. Gilley’s work has exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Portland 2010 Biennial. Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, 12 - 6PM and by appointment. Exhibition closes October 29, 2011. The Independent is located in the Pearl at 530 NW 12th in Portland, Oregon.
